Brahmaputra - The Origins

The mighty Brahmaputra is one of the greatest rivers of India. “Brahmaputra - The Origins” is the first of a trilogy of one of Dr Debal Sen's magnum opus'. The book traces the origins of this great river from many of the Tibetan rivers entering the Indian subcontinent. It chronicles the landscape, the flora and fauna and the rare tribes who live by these rivers, travelling through uncharted terrains, Sen reveals images of this little known region, some of which have never been revealed before. It showcases the basins of The Lohit, The Tsiang, Dibang, Noa Dihing, The Subhansiri and calming rivers.
