Graduating from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Dr. Panchali Sen went on to complete her M.A. in Political Science from Calcutta University, securing a First Class. She was awarded the Ph.D. degree by Jadavpur University in 2007.
She joined the faculty at St.Xavier’s College in 1993.A former Head of Political Science Dept. from July 2009 – June 2013, she is currently Dean, International Studies and Programmes of the College. Presently, she is also a member of Board of Studies of the Social Work department at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata.
For over twenty-five years, a journey that has unfolded across the vibrant crossroads of design and print — driven by creative intuition and a deep respect for the craft. His work bridges contemporary design with the ever-changing tactile legacy of printing technology.
As a managing partner of The Cybernetics, it has been a vision brought to life as the studio evolved from a modest design shop into a full-fledged print house, shaping ideas into tangible experiences with a rare balance of sensitivity and strategy.
Deeply interested in the natural world, he created his maiden publication “Reverence for Nature – The Lepchas of Dzongu: A Cultural Immersion,” as a heartfelt ode to the Earth’s beauty — an exquisite celebration of the Himalayan landscape with a gentle reminder of the intrinsic connection between humankind and the environment. His dedication to using design as a force for positive change is a reflection of his character and values.
A senior advocate of the Calcutta High Court having more than 30 years of practice.
After being enrolled as an advocate in November 1992, Sen devilled in the chamber of Mr. Samaraditya Pal, a very senior advocate of the Calcutta High Court and a constitutional expert. Sen is vastly experienced in constitutional and civil matters including arbitration matters. Apart from the Calcutta High Court, he has appeared before the Supreme Court and various other high courts of the country. He has also appeared in arbitration matters both within and outside the country.
He has represented the Reserve Bank of India and other public sector banks including UCO Bank and Punjab National Bank. He has also represented reputed companies including Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd., Indian Aluminium Co. Ltd, Nestlé India Ltd. and its agents, Glaxo SmithKline PLC and Cavin Kare Ltd. He has appeared in several important testamentary matters and has appeared on behalf of the Birlas against the Lodhas. He is also associated with several educational institutions including St. Xavier’s University, St. Xavier’s College & Patha Bhavan School and has represented St. Xavier’s University and St. Xavier’s College in many legal matters.
The study of Consciousness in a Universe filled with and governed by Energy, constantly displaying the interconnectivity of various aspects in Nature and Creation ; the infinite possibilities of energy healing and the immense power within each form of life, keep Sushweta riveted. She closely follows the 21st century scientific research breakthroughs in the areas of thought, emotions and well being, with the effectiveness of mindfulness and new results of path breaking research on Neuroplasticity and Epigenetics – all playing in Consciousness, where every form of life is instilled with the innate spiritual intelligence, which inspires and enables transcendence. This intelligence holds the map of life’s journey to one’s spiritual purpose, the higher calling. Sushweta follows and practices methods that are now endorsed by the breakdown of the 20th century mechanistic world by Quantum Physics and recent discoveries, which also have roots in indigenous traditions all over the world. These she believes, are insightful processes of self-discovery and spiritual growth.
Sushweta was earlier a ISC school Principal. She was the first to introduce ISO 9001 Quality systems in Education with Bureau Veritas, in any school in Eastern India. She served as a member of the ISC Council Examination Committee. Currently, she is Partner and Faculty at Anandini Foundation (a training firm engaged in building Conscious Leadership); Member, Corporate Sustainability Council, WICCI; Trustee at The India Foundation (a non-profit entity devoted to nurturing and propagating India’s richness in art, diversities and environment) and an Energy Coach and Spiritual Mentor, reaching out to numerous people through holistic energy re-aligning techniques of multiple branches of Reiki and Crystal Therapy, of which she is a certified Grandmaster. She guides and coaches the miraculously transformational Emotional Freedom Technique, Silva Mind Method, applies Rene Mey modules and Spiritual Response Therapy too.
Through her programmes based on Law of Attraction and Conscious Creation, one is led to awaken into realizing one’s own unlimited capabilities of personal empowerment in an exciting journey of courage and commitment. With the help of her compassionate patience and multiple disciplines in healing, Sushweta continuously stands by and supports her students and clients through their evolutionary transformations – many of whom are based in various cities in India and abroad.
Ishan Sen has been passionately shaping interactive experiences as a professional game designer for over nine years. Throughout his career, he has explored the vast spectrum of game design-merging creativity, technology, and psychology to craft engaging narratives, immersive worlds, and meaningful player journeys. Currently, he shares his expertise as a Game Design Professor at École Intuit Labs x Techno India University, Kolkata, where he mentors and inspires the next generation of creators to push the boundaries of interactive media.
Beyond the world of pixels and mechanics, Ishan finds his artistic voice through the lens of a camera. He is an avid photographer, drawn especially to the untamed beauty of natural world, the grandeur of landscapes, and the infinite mysteries of astrophotography. To Ishan, photography is not just about capturing moments-it is about preserving emotions, atmospheres, and stories that transcend words.
Whether he is designing a game or capturing the night sky, his pursuit remains the same: to evoke wonder, ignite imagination, and leave behind experiences that resonate deeply with those who encounter them.
